Some conversations about changes in US intelligence over the last few decades. A new element of leaks of classified information needs a separate discussion. Every new leap in technology increases intelligence collection but also adds new vulnerabilities. Fear of an all-powerful government controlling all aspects of life in the name of secrecy is also producing new saints like St. Julian Assange, St. Edward Snowden etc. for opponents of an intrusive government.
